Fare Calculation – Here’s How
The network area is divided into fare zones, which are identified by zone numbers. The fare depends on the number of fare zones traveled through during a journey. The basis is the actual route taken. Entry and exit zones are counted.
If a journey begins or ends at a stop located on a zone boundary, this stop is counted towards the zone in which the journey is made. In zones P1, P2, and P3, the VPE fare applies to internal traffic.
Once you have determined the number of zones traveled using the fare zone map, you can calculate your fare here:
It’s even easier with our fare calculator by simply entering your origin and destination.
